(2E)-3-{3-[() methyl]-4-methyphenyl} acrylic acid, also known as (2E)-3-{3-[(4-bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) methyl-4-methoxyphenyl} acrylic acid, is an organic compound. The following is a description of its nature, use, formulation and safety information:

-Solubility: Soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, dichloromethane and ethyl acetate, insoluble in water.

Use:
(2E)-3-{3-[(methyl)]-4-methoxyphenyl}acrylic acid is commonly used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and has the following uses:
-As a drug intermediate: It can be used to synthesize biologically active compounds, such as anti-cancer drugs, antibacterial drugs, etc.
-as a dye intermediate: can be used for the synthesis of azicyanine and other dyes.

Preparation Method:
(2E)-3-{3-[(methyl)]-4-methoxyphenyl}acrylic acid can be prepared as follows:
1. First, (4-bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) methylbenzaldehyde is synthesized under appropriate reaction conditions.
2. Condensation reaction of the synthesized (4-bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) methylbenzaldehyde with methyl p-toluenesulfonate to obtain (2E)-3-{3-[(4-bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) methyl]-4-methoxyphenyl} propenal.
3. Finally, (2E)-3-{3-[(4-bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) methyl]-4-methoxyphenyl} propenal is subjected to an oxidation reaction to produce the final product (2E)-3-{3-[(4-bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) methyl]-4-methoxyphenyl} acrylic acid.
